After building trusting relationships with its customers for the past 50 years, Groupe Park Avenue's management team wants to give back to the community. The company applies and fosters mutual aid as a corporate value.
Over $150,000 a year is donated to various charities.
We prioritize and give larger donations to local organizations that cater to health in general and to the well-being of children, such as:
- Centraide of Greater Montreal
87% of our staff contributed to the 2009 corporate campaign that generated more than $100,000; - Fondation Père Sablon
In 2008, Groupe Park Avenue donated three cars to the renowned Auberge du P'tit Bonheur located in Saint-Donat, which represents a $50 000 commitment; - Fondation Marie-Vincent
An 5-year commitment of $50,000; - Fondation Hôpital Charles-Lemoyne
A $50,000 donation
Providing access to education is an important component of our charitable efforts.
- Concordia University - Norman D. Hébert Scholarships
Norman D. Hébert Sr., is a self-taught entrepreneur and considers education as a priority. Each year, he donates some of the largest grants in Canada: - $21 000 to the John Molson School of Business
- $28 000 to the Engineering Faculty
Moreover, Norman Hébert Jr. has been the honorary president of the Concordia Golf Classic for the past six years helping generate more than $1.5 M to date for student financial support; - University of Ottawa - Norman E. Hébert Jr. Scholarship
for the Joint Law and MBA program - Fondation du Prêt d'Honneur
A 5-year commitment of $10 000
Each year, we support several causes and various foundations by offering a gift certificate exchangeable for a weekend of driving a MINI or BMW, or through Hole in One sponsorships at golf tournaments. These gifts help organizations raise additional funds during their fundraising activities.
