Our History

1959

Norman D. Hébert Sr. acquires Park Avenue Chevrolet, a dealership facing financial difficulties. He then embarks on impressive growth and diversifies operations.
1984

After opening the first long-term commercial fleet rental company in Canada and organizing the first Montreal Auto Show, Norman D. Hébert Sr. creates the Groupe Park Avenue to consolidate all his activities.
1985

The Groupe Park Avenue acquires a significant plot on Boulevard Taschereau in Brossard, which will eventually house most of its operations.
1991

After an impressive career, Norman D. Hébert Sr. hands over the business to his son, Norman Hébert Jr., who begins developing their properties in Brossard and newly acquired ones in Sainte-Julie.
2010-2018

The Groupe Park Avenue grows, notably beyond Montreal's South Shore, acquiring Mercedes-Benz of Quebec, Mercedes-Benz Silver Star, and BMW Sherbrooke.
2023

After building the Groupe Park Avenue into one of the largest automotive groups in Quebec, Norman Hébert Jr. passes the torch to his son, Norman John Hébert, who is determined to make the Group a leader in automotive electrification in Quebec.
2023-2025

Groupe Park Avenue undertakes a wave of major renovations to stay at the forefront of its industry, notably at Park Avenue Volvo, Mercedes-Benz Silver Star, BMW and MINI Brossard, as well as Léo Harley-Davidson.
2026

Groupe Park Avenue begins a strategic refocusing, now concentrating its expertise on the luxury vehicle market in Greater Montreal.
