Groupe Park Avenue Is Mobilizing Once Again This Year In Support Of Centraide Of Greater Montreal

For the 14th consecutive year, Groupe Park Avenue is honored to have participated in the annual Centraide campaign that took place last December. All of the Groupe's 16 dealerships mobilized to raise a substantial amount of $138,564. Thanks to the major donations made by 15 new leaders of the Groupe, Centraide and its special Leaders' Challenge program, sponsored in large part by the Hewitt Fund, added an additional $24,850. In total, $163,414 will be donated to support more than 350 organizations that help the most vulnerable.

Norman John Hébert, President and Chief Operating Officer of Groupe Park Avenue, underlines the involvement of the organization's employees who, once again this year, have shown incomparable generosity towards Centraide:  "I am extremely proud of our employees' commitment towards our community, but also of the actions taken by our leaders to raise additional funds that enabled us to maintain such a high level of contribution once again this year. It shows the strength of our organization when we all work together to achieve a common goal. We are proud to make a difference and contribute to the success of organizations that support our society in different ways." This amount brings the total value of Groupe Park Avenue's donations to the Centraide organization over the years to more than $1.6M.

This participation was naturally very well received by Centraide, which relies on Quebec businesses like Groupe Park Avenue to achieve its mission. Claude Pinard, President, and Executive Director of Centraide of Greater Montreal, is grateful for Groupe Park Avenue’s vital support: “We thank the company’s management team and employees for everything they do to show their support and solidarity. Their commitment to Centraide will make a positive impact on the daily lives of thousands of individuals and families. This year is looking to be a difficult one for too many people in our community who are vulnerable. The company’s donations will bolster the impact of our network agencies, which play a major role in our community by letting people eat better, find housing, and break out of their isolation.”
